A goal of the College is to provide national leadership in all Applied Health Sciences
disciplines through teaching, research, and outreach programs.Award-winning faculty at the
College of Applied Health Sciences have been
chosen to receive the highest honors accorded in their fields. A goal of the
College is to provide national leadership in all AHS disciplines. National
rankings, scholarly publications, and conference presentations of our faculty
place the College of Applied Health Sciences among the leading programs in the
nation. Research funding has grown to a level that is more than 60% higher than
the campus average per faculty FTE.
Many of the faculty at the Of the courses offered within the College, 84%
have received the highest student course ratings. Faculty regularly receive
Campus Awards for Excellence in Undergraduate and Graduate Teaching and
Research.
Faculty address some of society's most pressing needs and concerns in a
richly collaborative environment in the college and across this nationally
and internationally recognized campus.
