In the College of Applied Health Sciences at Illinois, we prepare students for careers that make a difference in our communities and in the lives of others. We would be thrilled if you would join us in that mission by applying to one of our outstanding academic programs.
The University of Illinois Office of Undergraduate Admissions takes the lead, throughout the university, on all matters relating to undergraduate admissions. They handle the application and admissions process. Below you will find some basic information about the admissions process, but if you need more in-depth information visit the admissions website.
Incoming freshmen are students that are applying while attending high school or have graduated from high school but have completed 12 or fewer credit hours of transferable course credit.
Incoming Freshmen undergraduate students will apply through the Office of Undergraduate Admissions and select the major/program of study they are interested in.
If perspective freshmen students aren't quite ready to start their application they can create a My Illini account to stay up to date on deadlines and receive helpful application information as it's made available.
Transfering from another Institution
Transfer students are students currently enrolled at another institution with more than 12 completed credit hours. Transfer students will also complete the application process through the Office of Undergraduate Admissions.
If transfer students have any program-specific questions they can contact an advisor in the department you would like to transfer into.
Transfering from another unit at Illinois (ICT)
Students who are currently enrolled in another unit on campus and wish to transfer to the College of Applied Health Sciences may apply through Intercollegiate Transfer (ICT).
